A useful tool to compress and decompress files.
Bitser is a tool that works to compress and decompress files, similar to Winzip, 7zip or Winrar, but with a different interface. This interface has been created in the style of Windows Explorer. Bitser works with the majority of compressed formats: 7z, ZIP, ARJ, CAB, CHM, CPIO, DEB, DMG, HFS, ISO, LZH, LZMA, MSI, NSIS, RAR, RPM, UDF, WIM, XAR...
You can create 7z and ZIP files, encrypt 7z and ZIP, and show the size of each file during the process. It is very easy to work with because it incorporates a drag and drop system. It includes contextual menus and offers information on the operations done: parameters, statistics and results compared with the compression ratio, speed and size. To work correctly you need to install Microsoft .Net Framework version 3.5 SP1 or later.
